Inglewood Childcare & Kindergarten | Centre Information
Our Centre provides care and education for children aged 0 to 12 years. The primary purposes of the Inglewood Childcare & Kindergarten are to provide quality care to children with an emphasis on the individual in an atmosphere of love, warmth and stimulation and to meet the needs of the parents within our community. We are a non-profit organization and all fees and fundraising is to continue with the operation of our centre, foe e.g., wages, operating expenditures and equipment.
Centre Hours
8:00am to 5:00pm
Monday to Friday
The centre will be closed for a min 2 weeks over the Christmas Break
Learning Environments
Our Centre has 3 playrooms and is licensed for 49 children. Displayed at the entry of each Room is the age of each group, number of children catered for & the Staff Child Ratio.
Joey Room Birth to 24 months & Mixed Age
Wombat Room 24 months to 36 months & Mixed Age
Croc Room 3 to 6 years & 3 to 12 years
Management Committee
Management Committee holds the following positions:
- President
- Vice Treasure / Secretary
All of these positions are voluntary. The Committee meets on a monthly basis and are involved in the decision making progress of the organization. For further information please see our Director or contact us.
What to bring for your Child
Please bring the flowing items in a clearly labeled bag ( not a plastic bag) and ensure all items are MARKED with your child’s name.
Joey Room
- Several changes of clothes suited to the weather.
- Enough bottles of formula for the day plus an extra
- A sun hat
- Sun screen lotion (if sensitive skin cream is required)
- Comforters / dummies (this is vital, particularly in the initial settling period)
- Morning Tea, Lunch & Afternoon Tea, depending on when your child attends. Please ensure lunch box is clearly marked with their name and that meals are nutritious.
- Bed linen, sheets, pillows and blankets (placed in a draw string bag or pillow case, with your child’s name.) If your child requires a pillow in their cot a written consent must be acquired.
Wombat/Croc Room
- Several changes of clothes suited to the weather.
- A sun hat
- Sun screen lotion ( if sensitive skin cream is required)
- Morning Tea, Lunch & Afternoon Tea, depending on when your child attends. Please ensure lunch box is clearly marked and meals are nutritious.

All personal items must be clearly named.
