Early Years Learning Framework
At Inglewood Childcare and Kindergarten, the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) underpins our practice by guiding educators to foster each child’s sense of belonging, being and becoming within a warm, safe and stimulating environment.
We embed the EYLF outcomes into our daily routines and programs by respecting the uniqueness of every child, family, educator and our community, by valuing their culture, language, and beliefs
Child Safe practices are prioritised to ensure all children feel secure, while strong partnerships with families are nurtured through open communication and shared involvement in their child’s learning journey. Our educational program reflects the EYLF’s emphasis on play-based learning, balancing adult-led and child-initiated experiences to support both group and individual needs.
By encouraging children’s input into experiences, we promote agency and active participation, while also engaging with our local community to extend learning beyond the centre. Continuous reflection and professional development ensure our practices remain responsive, inclusive and aligned with the EYLF, supporting children’s holistic development and wellbeing
